This transfer it turns out is 7 weeks because the last one was only five. Therefore, 2 more weeks in the transfer. And that is super cool about all the non members being able to come over and how one of them is already planning on being baptized! Wow!

Hey, I finally got a picture with
Mark! The only bad news is, that's because we ended up dropping him, so I asked
if we could get a picture at our last visit. He told us how he didn't feel
comfortable reading the Book of Mormon anymore, but that he would love to
continue reading and studying from the Bible with us. We told him we couldn't
do that. It was really sad. I am going to miss Mark. I have taught him since
day one arriving here in Artesia.
We were also able to get a picture
with Ryan! It seemed that last week he was making so much progress, but now he
has done some serious backsliding. I don't know exactly what it could be. He can't seem to
concentrate and does super random things whenever we see him. I doubt we'll be
able to keep teaching him. The last lesson we had just went absolutely nowhere.
Here's a picture from us at the dump
doing some service. You many wonder why I am in my regular missionary clothes.
Well, we were just biking along the street and saw this nice old guy by his
truck. We stopped and talked to him and offered him some help taking care of
all the garbage he had. He said sure. So we left with him right then and there
to go to the dump and unload it all. His name is Lupe and his wife's name is
Martha. Later on in the week we were able to come back and have a lesson with
them. I don't know how interested they are, but we at least were able to make
that initial contact and teaching from doing service:)
More skulls. Pretty cool.

These pancakes turned out perfect
looking so I had to get a picture of my golden brown, super fluffy stack.
