Artesia week 17

This was a great week. It seems like so much happened. That's because a lot did happen. I took a buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunch of pictures, so I will do less talking this week, but more pictures. Elder Nowland had a doctor's appointment in Roswell last p-day, and so I called up President Heap and he said we could go see some alien stuff while we were up there.
Oh, and we did. And got tons of pictures while we were at it. Hopefully they all turned out well. But we got proof: aliens are real!

Even aliens need the gospel.

This week we had stake conference. They have taken the Lubbock Stake and the Roswell stake and split them into now the Roswell, Lubbock, and Lubbock North stakes. That was sweet. Maybe they'll do some re-arranging of the zones in our mission because of that. Anyway, it was a great week at church as well because Neil and Sonya both made it out to church! Wow. Miracles. I don't know if I told you how Neil is a member of the Community of Christ. Anyway, since 2 weeks ago when we first met him he has read the whole Book of Mormon and knows that it is true. Yet since he is from the RLDS church, I guess he believes that his church can still be correct if the Book of Mormon is true. I am not completely sure, but I do not think their church supports the Book of Mormon any more. If you could provide me with some assurance or extra info about that, I would be much obliged as it would help immensely with Neil's conversion. Sonya is still plugging away at reading the Book of Mormon. The reason she made it to church on Sunday was because church was later due to it being stake conference. So keep praying she will be able to come to church. Definitely pray for Neil as well. We saw Emmanuel once this week. He has been super busy. Working 14 days straight will do that to you. He didn't make it to church or read the Book of Mormon really, so pray that he'll crack it open and pray about it. Overall, very fun week. Very successful. I am happy. Now we're onto the last week of the transfer. Who knows what it will hold?

The Hobbs zone picture.

Be careful of illegal aliens....
I will be praying for both Meagan and Courtney. They can take all the extra "missionary blessings" for the week. I don't need any right now. They're yours! I love you Meagan! I love you Courtney! I love you mom! I love you dad!
