Pecos week 22

Here's a classic picture: That sad moment when you don't get any mail :(
I loved conference as well and noticed those same two themes, The Family and The Atonement. The family must be super important, right?
Here's a cool thought from conference. Elder Bednar and Elder Pino both visited my mission. Wow. I loved conference. This time I didn't come into it having any questions. I wasn't sure what to ask. I was just thinking about how I only have a couple weeks left on the mission. Turns out conference was geared a lot towards me. So many people talked to the young single adults and missionaries/ recently returned missionaries.

Priesthood session isn't complete without some rootbeer floats. We were invited to come early and have some with everybody. The sad part was, we showed up and were the only ones...

On Sunday we had Ruben come with us to conference as well as Jessica and Danny. They all enjoyed it pretty good.

I'll tell you a little bit about how Ruben is doing. We are still meeting with him like every day. He is working hard on quiting drinking coffee right now. He's got it down to one cup in the morning and that's it.

Jessica and Danny are doing well in the gospel. Right now Danny is still dealing with his new medication making him super tired. He was happy to be at conference yesterday though. Gilberto and Petra were supposed to come to conference yesterday, but they never showed up! The only good news from that is that the Spanish TV wasn't working, so I don't know how they would have listened to it anyway. It would have been a hard time translating general conference speed and large vocabulary. We were supposed to see Hayden and Will a couple times this week, but they had to cancel on us.
Well, good thing we don't have a car. This week they installed little black boxes in all the mission vehicles that report when you don't buckle up, when you're speeding, and when you're driving too recklessly. Yay for bikes!

Here's pictures of exchanges last week with Elder Sork in Kermit. Once again I got to stay in "the lilypad,"
And yes we dug some holes in our church clothes.
I don't have much else for this week. I will keep working hard these last little bit I've got. I love you mom! I love you dad! I love you Meagan! I love you Courtney!
