Pampa week 6

Fort Worth Texas! Oh my gosh, I can't believe it. ANOTHER Texan in the family. Too funny. That's awesome. English? Tell McCabe congratulations from me! He'll love it in Texas!
As custom for the last week of the transfer, we had district pictures.
This last Sunday there were just over 100 people in sacrament meeting. Not a single Spanish speaker though. I thought this was funny: Elder Pahulu's favorite hymn is" There is a Green Hill Far Away", just like Grandma Coats.

Our flat tire. My first time changing one. Ooooooh yeahhhhhh!

Oh, I just realized... I didn't tell you what's happening to me with the new transfer starting today. Elder Pahulu and I are both staying here in Pampa. Yay! I get to keep working with all the great people we have right now. We're still meeting with Elana, so just keep praying for her! Her son, Zander still sits in on some of the lessons too. Not all, but some.

Diego and Janie were not able to make it to church, because they were sick, but we did meet with them earlier in the week before they weren't feeling so well. Diego is a sharp guy. He remembers basically everything he was taught before, and he always asks good questions in the lessons. We found out that James will be able to have the weekend off coming up in a couple weeks. Dang, slowly but surely. And we were also able to talk to Isabella and Elena's brother and uncle about possibly teaching them too. Hopefully we can start doing that this week as well.

So here's the update this week for Isabella: Everything is looking good so we had President Chapell, one of the counselors in the mission presidency come and do her interview for her last night. She passed! So now all she needs to do is come to church one more time (she couldn't make it yesterday because she just got a new job and her boss wouldn't let her off this Sunday) and she can get baptized! Her date is set for the 8th of March. She is really excited. And I am really excited too!
Elder Pahulu
Random, but Elder Pahulu and I played like all the same video games as kids. Pretty cool. This morning we were talking about Pokemon and he wondered if there was a soundtrack for the game. I wonder too. Is there a soundtrack for the Pokemon gameboy games? For like the Yellow or Red or Blue versions? If so, there shouldn't be any lyrics and that would be a legit CD to send me :)

Elder Pahulu and I in old people's chairs that get jacked up to help you get out. So cute!

Elder Moffitt, LJ, and Elder Pahulu
LJ got baptized this week. The sisters mainly taught him. But we taught him a few times due to complications. So of course we had to get a picture with him. But I wouldn't count him as MY baptism.

And my planner cover is with all the little ninos. Reason: this transfer is my birthday and I turn 20. No longer a nino. Not even a teenager any more. Crazy.
Elder Pahulu drew us for his planner cover. Pretty legit.

I hope that all is well with the Moffitt clan and I am also excited to hear from Courtney about her decision with her patriarchal blessing. Meagan, did you already get yours? Man, I am out of the loop. But I'm in the belt. The bible belt. Anyway... I love you mom! I love you dad! I love you Meagan! I love you Courtney!
