Abilene round 2 week 2

All the missionaries helping us move into our new place at like 9:00 at night.
Busy busy week!  Before I forget I will start by letting you know we moved apartments this week.

What a fun mess that was. Our new apartment is slightly bigger than the other one, but the air conditioner does not seem to function, and it is always around 80 in the apartment. At least it's not the summer any more right? Our new address is:

1000 Justice Way #907

Post GC lunch group
Yes! The Bundys are still here! They gave us lunch yesterday after the conference! And the Juarez family gave us lunch after conference on Saturday. We have been very blessed by getting our stomachs filled despite our lack of money. And the first night I was here Bro Robles fed us. Then the second night I didn't tell you but Genaro and Lupe fed us. They are doing great! They are preparing to go to the temple in a few months. I also was finally able to see Nadia this week too. That was good. She was happy that I wrote her a letter pretty recently as well.

I really did enjoy conference as well, and I noticed how a lot of the talks were about following the prophets and the organization and leadership in the church. And we also put up sheets to block out all the light from our windows. We have a suuuuper bright street light right outside our window, and that first night we moved in, it was just so hard to sleep. But we fixed the problem.
Another exciting event of the week is that President Heap came down to San Angelo and we got to watch Meet The Mormons! It was great. Fantastic. I highly recommend it. Bring your friends to watch it too. Easy, stress free missionary opportunity right there. Seriously, if every non-mormon saw that movie, I think that would help us out bundles as missionaries. Sometimes people forget that we- missionaries- are still people too.
Here are some pictures of us putting up the bats from the package you sent on our "bat cave."

Not too much as for investigators this week .We challenged Ana, Sandra, and Odalis to be baptized. They said they weren't ready. We are doing lots of hitting the streets and talking to people. So far this week we got 1 new investigators from that. His name is Mario. He's the Mexican who doesn't want to be Mexican. He's an interesting guy. At first we thought he was going to totally cancel on our appointment we made with him, but now we're teaching him. We are also working with some more of the less actives. Leonardo, who was (and still is) the elder's quorum president stopped coming to church a little after I left along with Azriel. So we will be focusing in on them and well as on Yvonne, who is Kayla's mom. She's having it tough right now, and really needs a friend. And she really needs the gospel. Sounds like the perfect situation for missionaries if you ask me.
I forgot to send this picture from last week. This is with Armando and his family who Elders King and Mitchell taught and baptized. I was to one who gave him the baptismal interview, and I actually got to teach him one time on exchanges too. This was the day that I didn't get to say goodbye to all my Artesia friends, but Armando was super nice and told me how I had even made an impact on him and made me feel right at home.
That's it for this week! I hope all is well back in Virginia and Utah! I love you mom! I love you dad! I love you Meagan! I love you Courtney!
