Well hello there! We had p-day yesterday, but we're just doing e-mails today. So that's pretty nice. We had a really fun day yesterday. Guess where we went again? The ZOO! Elder Cruz-Garcia really wanted to go, so we got a little group together and we went. It was actually loads of fun. And now you can tell we're missionaries because we're wearing normal missionary clothes.
We
had to tell Elder Cruz-Garcia that it wasn't a petting zoo.

We
payed an extra dollar to feed the giraffes. Totally worth it

Snakes.
why does it always have to be snakes?

Alright, now after that onslaught of pictures, I guess I
should tell you a little bit about the rest of the week. We had some sweet
success. Unfortunately, not with any investigators, in fact we didn't even get
to see Ana, Sandra and Odalis. However, our less active work has been going
strong. We were able to visit Leonardo, and he came to church for all 3 hours
and stayed for sacrament meeting! You could tell he really loved it too. He had
a good time at church. And we were also able to have a lesson with Azriel (we
had members come out with us to teach 5 less actives this week!), and then he
made it out to sacrament meeting on Sunday! It was sweet when he came in
everyone just swarmed him. It couldn't have been better.
There were 28 people at sacrament meeting
Sunday. Here are a few more details about Elder Cruz-Garcia. I don't know if I
told you that his parents aren't members, but they aren't supporting him on his
mission. He had to save up everything for himself. And they don't even write
him or anything. Personally, I don't understand that. I feel like even if my
child did something I was super against, I would still want to talk to them and
I would still love them. But I am not his parents. Anyway, maybe someone could
write him a short little letter this week or something? I think that would mean
a lot to him :)
:) I don't
know why I can't think of anything else that went on this week. Super short
e-mail I guess. Just that we went to the army surplus store last week, and that
was fun. I love you mom! I love you dad! I love you Meagan! I love you
Courtney!
