pecos week 20

Temple trip this week! As always, it was a great experience. I am excited for the opportunity to go more often when I get home.
Elder Larkin and Elder Moffitt at the Lubbock, Texas temple

Elders Larkin, Schofield, Banegas and I (the Pecos branch missionaries).

This is my "Happy St. Patrick's day picture." What is greener, my tie or the pool?
Jessica was our only investigator that made it to church this week. Her and Danny started to have a "companionship prayer" this week which will be great for them. I don't know if I told you, but Jessica is due to have a baby the 11th of April. Exciting news, right?

Hayden didn't make it to church, but we did teach him a few times and he and Ronny and Will (we started teaching Will- he's another guy living in their house) read from the Book of Mormon together. Gilberto and Petra were committed to coming to church this week but didn't make it once again. Man, that is so disappointing. Sunday is like game day. Then sometimes our whole team decides not to show up! There were 42 people at church btw.

This week Elder Larkin and I gave talks on the Atonement at church, and that went well. We tried using that as an extra motivation for our investigators coming to church, but I guess that didn't work out.

Thanks for the letters everyone! I definitely love getting letters. We have another investigator, Pedro who made lots of progress this week too. He has been reading all the passages we gave him in the Book of Mormon, but he is just having a hard time coming to church. He seemed so excited for it too. Pray for everyone to come this week!

Not to be trunky, but one month left! Can you believe it? I love you mom! I love you dad! I love you Meagan (get better)! I love you Courtney!
