Pecos week 8

Here's our live Christmas tree with all our presents around it.
It sounds like you had just as wonderful a Christmas as I did talking to ya! I hope you enjoyed seeing me for a good little bit because I don't have many pictures from this week. Funny thing about the Christmas call for Elder Palmer: he said after the call it made him want to go home even less. Lol. So yes, we will be buckling down and working hard.
I got to catch up with Elder Cruz at the Christmas party.

Remember that puzzle we started like a month ago? Well, we finally had enough lunch times and p-days to complete it only to find that we were missing 4 pieces.

The look of disappointment...

This week we were able to teach Javier a couple times before he headed back over to Andrews for Christmas. He has still been reading the Book of Mormon, and he likes everything we've got to tell him. Once again though, he was out of town for church on Sunday. Pray that he'll be able to come to church and also that we'll be able to get some good fellowship for him.

In other news: this week we made some great progress with Nancy and little John. They both were at church on Sunday! The first time that an investigator besides Jessica has been to church. They still seem like they've got a long way to go, but they're getting there. Slowly but surely. Jessica and Danny doing great this week as well. He is still on a roll of no smoking. I don't think I told you before that they are engaged. But they've almost finished everything else they need to do in order to get married. Miracles are happening. 43 people at church on Sunday. Our branch president made a bold challenge to everyone over the pulpit. He challenged everyone by the end of the week to give us missionaries a referral! Whoo!!!

I don't have much else to report for this week. You've heard a lot for me already. Mainly a pretty slow week with Christmas and the Christmas party. I love you mom! I love you dad! I love you Meagan! I love you Courtney!
